Our little girl is one month old today! How time flies!! I'll start you off with a cute 1-month old picture...
She has been a wonderful addition to our family! For the most part, she is a very content baby - except for when she is hungry. She doesn't really do much yet, but we are expecting things to "pick up" soon! Probably right as I'm going back to work she will start to get "fun". :) Daddy likes to read her Dr. Seuss books and Mommy likes to take her for walks on these not-so-hot days.
On our Ukraine adoption front....all I can say is God had a hand in our adoption of Emmy. Just last week we get an email from the agency saying they are closing their doors. Gee...wonder where our money went that we paid to have our dossier registered???!! Not to the facilitator, that's for sure! No wonder we have been getting the runaround from them. We are "exploring our options" as far as what to do with this. Suggestions??? :)
Love,

She is beautiful! Just wait till she sees you from across the room and smiles...it's coming! Don't forget to remind yourself how small she is as you hold her, change her...also clip a lock of hair now for her baby book as it will change or fall out soon! God Bless your continued journey as FAMILY!
WOW!!! This is so incredibly awesome! I haven't checked your blog for a couple of months and what a great surprise! A beautiful baby girl...may God continue to bless your sweet family.
What a wonderful surprise when I visited your blog. I'm just trying to get caught up now that things have slowed down for us.
Congratulations, what a doll. As for us, we got our appointment date yesterday for October 20th.
Looking forward to continuing with your journey and so happy it has worked out for you two.
Cheers,
Chris
I am so happy for you all! I remember in your email to me the frustration with your Ukrainian process. God really is faithful, and He prepared your hearts for a change of plans. How awesome that His plans for our lives are sometimes delivered in such wonderful surprises. May He continue to bless you and your family! She is a beautiful gift!
